APVMA Emissions Reduction Plan 2025–30

The Australian Government released the Net Zero in Government Operations Strategy in November 2023, setting out the overall approach and action required by Commonwealth entities to achieve the APS Net Zero 2030 target.

As a corporate Commonwealth entity, the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is not required to achieve the APS Net Zero 2030 target. However, the APVMA has set its own climate-related targets and developed an emissions reduction plan to contribute to climate action in government operations.

The APVMA Emissions Reduction Plan 2025–30 describes the priorities and actions the APVMA is taking to reduce operational emissions.
