They provide greater clarity about government policies and objectives relevant to the regulator, in line with its statutory objectives. Ministerial Directions
The Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Act 1992 empowers the Minister to issue written directions to the APVMA or the APVMA Board concerning the performance of functions or the exercise of powers, and such directions must be complied with.
