The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) invites comment on the proposed use of cyprodinil for use on barley.
We invite written comment from 31 October 2025 to 14 November 2025 on the trade implications of this proposal.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds for the assessment, which are the trade implications of the use of the product. The Trade Advice Notice provides a summary of the APVMA's residue and trade assessment.

Submissions received
The APVMA sought comments from interested stakeholders on the proposed use of cyprodinil on barley, in a consultation that closed on 14 November 2025. Two submissions were received during this consultation, which were supportive of the proposed uses from a trade perspective.
Consultation outcomes
The residues and trade assessment for this application has been finalised. It was communicated to the National Working Party on Grain Protection (NWPGP) , in response to a comment in their submission, that the application was received by the APVMA on 26 August 2025.
