The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is considering an application for the registration of a new product, Folpan 800 WG Fungicide, containing a new active constituent, folpet.
The proposed product is for use as a preventative treatment for control of downy mildew, grey mould and powdery mildew in Grapes.
We invite comment from 24 February 2026 to 24 March 2026 on whether registration of the products should be granted.
The APVMA is able to consider comments relating to the legislative grounds, including:
- occupational health and safety
- public health
- chemistry and manufacture
- residues in food
- environmental safety
- trade
- efficacy and target crop safety.
