Adam Mortimer from APVMA presenting Chemistry data (Ag) workshop (Data stream),
13 June 2008

APVMA recently held a registration seminar, Registration: Back to Basics to update registrants on recent changes such as new application categories and fees, data protection, electronic labels and the introductions of the electronic application and registration system (EARS). The last registration seminar was held in Canberra in 2003, although a number of seminars on specialist topics have been held since.

The seminar was very popular and booked out in less than six weeks. Over 100 different companies attended. Presenters included a wide range of APVMA staff and some guests, including representatives from Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), Department of Health and Ageing (Office of Chemical Safety), Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts (DEWHA) and members of our Industry Liaison Committee (ILC).

The program included four introductory presentations and then breakout into four different workshop streams (Ag, Vet, Data and Registration & Communications stream), with a selection of the most popular workshop topics repeated.

Weren’t able to attend?

If there is sufficient demand for another registration seminar, we will consider repeating the seminar or selected parts of it. We invite you to register your interest for future seminars.
