Application Summaries, Advice Summaries and Data Protection

Three major changes to how the APVMA uses the information provided with certain applications came into effect as result of the US Free Trade Agreement, on 1 January 2005. The changes included data protection, early disclosure (application summaries) and transparency (advice summary) provisions.

Application Summaries (Early disclosure)

The APVMA is required to publish application summaries once an application has been accepted for assessment.    View all application summaries

 

Advice Summaries (Transparency)

The APVMA is required to publish summaries of the advice provided by other Government departments and agencies, and other specialists the APVMA consults, in relation to applications that are granted.    View all advice summaries
