There
are several standard type certificates that the APVMA can provide
along with specialised certificates. These standard certificates are
based on commonly requested certificate formats although applicants
are not restricted to these.
Note that the APVMA must be able to verify all information placed
on a certificate and it is the applicants responsibility to supply
all information requested by the APVMA.
Certificate
of Export
This certificate contains information about a registered agricultural
or veterinary chemical product.
Certificate
of Export (Active Constituent)
This certificate contains information about an approved active constituent.
Certificate
of Export (Exempt Product)
This certificate contains information about an agricultural or veterinary
chemical product that does not require registration in Australia.
The APVMA will have to assess a product for exempt status before a
certificate can be issued.
Certificate
of Export (Unregistered Product)
This certificate contains information about an agricultural or veterinary
chemical product that is not registered, but if sold in Australia
would require registration. Currently a permit must be issued before
a certificate can be generated.
Certificate
of Export and Manufacture (Approved GMP)
This certificate contains information about a registered veterinary
chemical product and the Good Manufacturing Practice licence of the
site of manufacture of the product.
Certificate
of Free Sale
This certificate contains information about a registered agricultural
or veterinary chemical product where the product is sold within Australia.
The APVMA may require evidence of sales of the product.
Certificate
of Free Sale (Veterinarian Only)
This certificate contains information about a registered veterinary
chemical product only that is sold within Australia through registered
veterinary surgeons and are scheduled S4.
Certificate
of Manufacture
This certificate contains information about the manufacturing site
of agricultural chemical products.
Certificate
of Manufacture (Approved GMP)
This certificate contains information about the Good Manufacturing
Practice licence of a veterinary chemical product manufacturing site.
Certificate
of a Pharmaceutical Product for Veterinary Use (WHO Certificate)
This is a detailed certificate developed by the World Health Organisation.
Some countries may specifically request this form of certificate.
Specialised
certificates
The APVMA can also generate specialised certificates. The APVMA must
be able to verify the information for the certificate.
Also note that it is the applicant's responsibility to find out certificate requirements of the receiving country. The APVMA does not provide advice on the documentation requirements of other countries.
