Efficacy and Target Animal/Crop Safety Reviewer’s Manual

This manual is designed to assist state and external reviewers to provide efficacy and target animal / crop safety data assessments and recommendations to the APVMA. The APVMA uses efficacy and safety reviewers from State government departments as well as external providers. These reviewers provide the APVMA with a scientific assessment of the efficacy data that is part of some registration / permit applications, and recommendations regarding the efficacy and target animal / crop safety of a chemical product. The APVMA evaluates applications for product registration, permits and label approval for pesticides and veterinary medicines under the criteria of human safety, environmental safety, trade, efficacy and target animal/crop safety.
