Stakeholder engagement is a significant activity for the APVMA.
The APVMA engages its stakeholders through providing information, consultation designed to elicit particular views, involvement of stakeholders in decision making and through collaboration with regulatory peers.
The agency actively provides information to stakeholders on outcomes of regulatory decisions and processes through the fortnightly APVMA Gazette and Regulatory Update, Community e-Bulletin, various publications, presentations and meetings.
When the APVMA finds an area of its operation that has not been previously or adequately communicated to stakeholders, it prepares an operational notice.
