Status: review completed
The APVMA reviewed the use of chlorpropham because of concerns over the lack of toxicological information.
In November 1997 the APVMA released the Chlorpropham Review Final Report (PDF, 160kb). In the review the APVMA recommended varying product labels to include strengthened first aid instructions, safety directions and re-entry period statements. The APVMA also established appropriate chlorpropham Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs). Read a full history of the review.
