Changes to labels in PUBCRIS and the closure of Infopest
20 July 2011
In line with the new statutory conditions that apply to existing and new label approvals that took effect in July 2010, Marketed Product Labels (MPLs) for products registered under the new conditions will no longer be available through PUBCRIS. The majority of new labels in PUBCRIS are now plain text and contain only the essential elements of the label, known as the Relevant Label Particulars (RLPs).
From September 2011, copies of MPLs previously hosted by the Queensland Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation (DEEDI) through its Infopest service (external site) will be transferred to appear directly through PUBCRIS. This is as a result of DEEDI closing Infopest.
The APVMA does not anticipate any impact on the availability of approved labels through PUBCRIS during this transition.
