deltamethrin

[in the product: K-OBIOL COMBI SYNERGISED GRAIN PROTECTANT]

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has before it an application from Bayer CropScience Pty Limited seeking a reduction of the deltamethrin MRL for cereal grains, to bring the Australian MRL in line with the Codex MRL and overseas tolerances. The product is currently registered for mixing with un-infested cereal grain, including malting barley and sorghum, for protection against various insect pests.

The APVMA invites any person to submit a relevant written submission as to whether the application to reduce the deltamethrin MRL for cereal grains should be granted. Such submissions should detail comments stating the grounds on which the submission is based. Such grounds should relate only to the trade implications of the proposal. Comments must be received by the APVMA within 28 days of the date of this notice.
