NOTICE Correction to a Previous Notice Octenol

This is a correction to a notice included in the previous issue (issue number 12, 2004) of the APVMA Gazette published on Tuesday 7 December 2004. The notice in question is a notification under section 12 of the Agvet Code of the APVMA’s proposal to approve the new active constituent octenol, and an invitation to comment on that proposal. The notice is printed on page 18 of issue number 12, 2004.

The subtitle ‘Summary of the APVMA’s Evaluation of Oestriol Active Constituent’ should read ‘Summary of the of the APVMA’s Evaluation of Octenol Active Constituent’.

The sentence ‘Other compounds of toxicological significance are not expected to occur in oestriol as a result of the raw materials and the synthetic route used.’ should read ‘Other compounds of toxicological significance are not expected to occur in octenol as a result of the raw materials and the synthetic route used.’
