It's important we get it right: developing our Risk Compendium
One measure proposed under the Better Regulation reforms is the publication of a comprehensive risk framework – known as the Risk Compendium. The compendium describes the policies and processes used by the APVMA to assess and manage risk across our regulatory activities.
It's important we are clear about what you can expect from the APVMA when it comes to dealing with us as a regulator both now and into the future. We are committed to developing the compendium through an open and consultative process with our stakeholders and clients.
Opportunities to provide feedback and consult
General Feedback
Feedback on the documents already released in the compendium can be provided to us at any time during the reform process. We are particularly interested in enhancing communication and understanding of the APVMA's regulatory activities and would like to know if the documents provide the clarity you need.
Following the passage of legislative amendments through the Australian Parliament, the framework documents in Volume 1 will be reviewed and revised to ensure their alignment with the relevant provisions.
