[Closed] Seeking comment on draft APVMA Risk Analysis Framework
The APVMA is pleased to release the draft Risk Analysis Framework document for public consultation.
The purpose of this document is to describe the APVMA’s approach to risk analysis that forms the basis for the scientific evaluation process and regulatory decision making. It is written for those with an interest in the risk assessment and risk management practices that underpin the work of the APVMA and external agencies and experts the APVMA seeks advice from.
The draft Risk Analysis Framework is a narrative style document that has been produced to communicate the APVMA’s approach to risk analysis to the wider community.
The APVMA welcomes comment on the draft document from 25 November 2011 to 5pm (Canberra time) 18 January 2012.
Following consideration of stakeholder input, the draft APVMA Risk Analysis Framework will be finalised and released in February 2012.
