Methiocarb review

Status: review in progress

In 1995 the APVMA began a review of methiocarb because of concerns over public health, occupational health and safety, residues, and the environment.

In April 2005 the APVMA released the Methiocarb Preliminary Review Findings Report. The APVMA proposed varying product labels and deleting some uses so that the continued use of methiocarb would not pose an undue hazard to the safety of the public and would not unduly prejudice Australian trade. Read a full history of the review...

The APVMA will issue a final report once the assessment of all available data is completed.
