Ethidimuron

Ethidimuron was formerly used as a non-selective herbicide in non-crop areas.

There are no products containing ethidimuron currently registered for use in Australia.

Ethidimuron review

Status: Review Completed

The APVMA (formerly the NRA) reviewed the use of ethidimuron because of concerns over the lack of toxicological data.

The APVMA completed the Special Review of Ethidimuron in September 1994 but did not publish a final report. The APVMA recommended withdrawing the Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for ethidimuron and cancelling the registration of all related products. Read a full history of the review...
