Chloroxuron is a phenylurea herbicide formerly used in Australia for the control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.
There are no products containing chloroxuron currently registered for use in Australia.

In August 1994 the APVMA (formerly the NRA) reviewed the use of chloroxuron because of concerns over the lack of toxicological data.
The APVMA completed the Special Review of Chloroxuron in September 1994 but did not publish a final report. The APVMA recommended cancelling the registration of all chloroxuron products. Read a full history of the review...
